Are We Experiencing the Fulfilling of Joel 2:28-31?
Has God Poured Out His Spirit On All Flesh? Joel 2:28-31 says, “And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my Spirit upon all flesh ; and your sons and daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, and your young men shall see visions; and also, upon the servants and the handmaids in those days will I pour out my Spirit. And I will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, fire and pillars of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and terrible day of the Lord.” Part of these verses have been partially fulfilled, that is verse twenty-eight. Peter quoted the above verses in Acts 2:16-20 on the Day of Pentecost when about 120 believers were gathered waiting for the promise of the power of the Holy Spirit.
